The Christian Family Schools La Mesa group’s primary purpose is to encourage homeschooling families. We meet twice a month and visitors are always welcome. On the third Friday of each month we meet in a park setting so moms can share fellowship and information while the children play. We are currently partnering with the Special Children, Special Blessings group to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for special needs homeschooling families. They have a standing invitation to join us at our Park Day.
We also have a Mom’s Night Out each second Tuesday of the month to provide the opportunity to share knowledge and insight with each other. Nursing babies are always welcome as well as any hand crafts you would like to bring to work on (knitting, crocheting, etc. – keep your hands busy while we chat if you like).
We urge homeschooling families to join a support group. CFS has many throughout the county, each with a unique flavor. We suggest you try a few to see where you fit in best.
