CFS El Cajon

Welcome! 

The El Cajon Park Group is a local member group of Christian Family Schools. We are a support system of parents who choose home education for their children. Our goal is to serve the Lord by helping other families who have chosen the path of private home education.

We partner together to gain wisdom, knowledge, understanding and encouragement through meetings and fellowship. We wish to enhance the home school by providing opportunities for our children to develop friendships, character, strong family values, and educational standards. We hope to accomplish this through specialty classes, activities, field trips and park group.


Our group is run solely by parent-participation. We are all volunteers trying to serve the Lord and each other. Each person contributing her or his gift for the betterment of the whole. We appreciate and value all input and trust the Lord to guide us in His purposes. We believe by the support of one another, victories are won.

Membership

Annual membership (Sep. 2011 - Aug. 2012) is $20 and includes the following benefits:
  • CFS membership which includes HSLDA membership discount, and access a variety of events sponsored by CFS each year.
  • Monthly newsletter
  • Monthly park day with parents’ meeting
  • Showcase at the park
  • Field trips
  • Special events
  • Enrichment classes and/or co-ops
  • Mom’s Night Out dessert and discussion
  • Legislative alerts and updates from FPM

This year 2011-12, we will meet at Shadow Hills Park on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m., the following Thursday should it rain, September through June. If you would like more information or maybe interested in joining our group, please contact us at ElCajon@cfssd.org.
